Training our employees is important to ensure we are complying with legislative requirements and importantly, providing the best possible service we can. All employees will be required to participate in training relevant to their role at InComPro.

CPI Safety Intervention Foundation Training

CPI equips employees with the skills and knowledge to de-escalate and manage conflict and potentially volatile situations when working with clients. It is based on the guiding philosophy of care; welfare; safety and security.

Manual Handling

As part of our commitment to the health and safety of our employees and the people we support, InComPro views manual handling hazard training as a WH&S priority for all employees.

Medication Administration

Medication administration equips employees with the skills they need to assist participants and clients who require daily medication. Training is provided in house by InComPro’s Registered Nurse who also delivers in-house training to employees on other topics including, bowel care, catheter care, diabetes and seizures.

NDIS On-Line Learning

All new employees at InComPro are required to complete the following NDIS on-line modules:

  • NDIS Orientation Module
  • New Worker NDIS Induction Module
  • NDIS Supporting Safe & Enjoyable Meals
  • NDIS Supporting Effective Communication.
  • Provide First Aid

    Employees working directly with participants and clients are required to hold and maintain up-to-date Provide First Aid and CPR certificates.

    Safe Food Handling

    InCompro engages an external trainer to deliver Safe Food Handling to all new employees to meet WH&S standards as they apply to food handling and preparation. Training includes handling of food, hygiene, cleaning, freezing and thawing, allergies and contamination.
