Youth Mentoring
Inspiring Futures
Creating Connections
InComPro is committed to developing and supporting the next generation of community leaders. Our talented and dedicated staff engage with young Aboriginal people to foster their connection to community, land and culture.
Developing future leaders and mentors ensures a secure future for Aboriginal communities.
Youth Mentoring includes:
- strengthening social and emotional wellbeing
- improving independent living skills and developing positive connections with communities
- fostering individual talents and interests
- strengthening identity and culture
- Improving education, training and employment outcomes.
Having positive role models in our lives is important and helps us to grow and shape the decisions we make as we develop. Our dedicated Mentors work with children and young people, encouraging and inspiring them to stay on the right track.
InComPro facilitates dynamic and engaging youth mentoring services, designed to give young people examples of what they can achieve in their lives with the right resources and a little determination.
Youth Mentoring is particularly important for many youth who are disengaged from their communities, education and support services as well as young people who are under the Guardianship of the Minister.
